My first journal entry-Yeah!!

Well, where do I begin?

Last night we went to Mikey's Birthday party at Chuck E. Cheese. We all had a blast. I gotta tell ya, Chuck E. Cheese is the best bribe out there. Ever since we got the invitation, Shelby has been hyped up on the whole CEC thing, so...every time she acts up, or doesn't want to take a nap, etc. we tell her,"well, guess you don't want to go to CEC" and she immediately surrenders. LOL  Is that bad or what?  Now that the birthday party is over, I don't know what we are going to do!!!

Today is Emily's birthday-HAPPY BIRTHDAY EMMERS!!! We got her the cutest preggo shirt that says Beautiful across the belly.

It is my goal to get some recent pics of the girls uploaded by the end of the weekend, so we'll see....

As most of you know from my demorral(sp?) influence phone calls...my last ECG went very well. The doctors found no bleeding and therefore, no banding! Yeah! My last five appts beforehand I had several band put around the varices of my esophagus to alleviate the bleeding caused from the portal hypertension I was diagnosed with in January. Since my last appt went so well, I don't have another ECG until June 8th.  It's such a relief. Those bands hurt so much and I can't swallow anything for days. At Friday's appt, we talked about the transplant process and it seems I am still not ready. I'm just not sick enough...???don't ask. I don't get it either. I just listen to what the doctors say and trust that God has a plan for me.   They follow me closely and let me know that they will regularly test me for Liver cancer which is common in patients with cirrhosis. That was comforting...I think.  LOL 

This weekend is the twins' Sweet 16. I haven't bought them a present yet. For the first time ever, I am stumped. I wanted to get them something like I usually do, clothes, purse, cd's, etc. but now I'm stressed with thinking I should get them something more memorable, since it is their Sweet 16. We are having a bbq for them on Saturday. I remember my sweet 16 party was such a mess. OMG, I invited all of my girlfriends, but pretty soon, all of the boys showed up. One of my friends made out with another friends' boyfriend, they got in a fight, oh the drama! Anyway, my parents were furious. So furious in fact that I think I ruined it for all of my sisters. There hasn't been a sweet 16 party since...oops.
